Your tour guide:

My name is Gerson. I am a naturalist guide, born in the Caribbean of Costa Rica and now residing in Puerto Jiménez. I visited the Osa Peninsula a long time ago, and I simply fell in love with the place. Since then, I have tried to do the things that fill me as a person: love nature and share it, learn from it, and grow.

About this tour

Experience the rainforest after dark on an immersive night walk through primary and mature forest near Corcovado National Park. This extended experience takes participants beyond the typical forest-edge trails and into a more remote environment where the sounds and rhythms of the jungle truly come alive. Accompanied by a naturalist guide, we will explore the forest in search of the fascinating creatures that become active after sunset. Depending on weather conditions and seasonality, opportunities may include observing frogs, reptiles, insects, spiders, nocturnal birds, mammals, and many other rainforest inhabitants. Far from roads, artificial lights, and village noise, this experience offers a deeper connection with the natural world and a unique opportunity to appreciate the rainforest at its most active. Every walk is different, making each outing a genuine exploration of one of the most biodiverse regions on Earth. Ideal for nature enthusiasts, photographers, and travelers seeking a more immersive nocturnal rainforest experience.
