The Four Monkeys Safari
Private tourYour tour guide:
My name is Gerson. I am a naturalist guide, born in the Caribbean of Costa Rica and now residing in Puerto Jiménez. I visited the Osa Peninsula a long time ago, and I simply fell in love with the place. Since then, I have tried to do the things that fill me as a person: love nature and share it, learn from it, and grow.
About this tour
Join us on a unique wildlife safari across the Osa Peninsula in search of Costa Rica’s four native monkey species. Departing early from Puerto Jiménez, we will explore several carefully selected locations along Route 245, where healthy monkey populations have been observed for many years. Traveling through forest edges, mature rainforest, and productive wildlife corridors, we will search for the White-faced Capuchin, Geoffroy’s Spider Monkey, Mantled Howler Monkey, and the endangered Central American Squirrel Monkey. This relaxed family-friendly experience offers an excellent opportunity to observe monkeys behaving naturally while enjoying the spectacular rainforest landscapes that make the Osa Peninsula one of the world’s most important biodiversity hotspots. Every stop offers a new chance for unforgettable wildlife encounters.
