Your tour guide:

From a very young age, I discovered a great fascination for birds and nature, enjoying every opportunity to see and learn about the different species around me. However, it was in 2018 that I began birdwatching more formally, developing a deep interest in bird identification, behavior, and conservation. Since then, I have continued growing within this wonderful world of birdwatching, combining my passion for birding and nature photography. In addition, I hold a General Tour Guide license certified by the ICT, and I have around six years of experience as a guide with a focus on birdwatching and photography, providing enriching experiences for people interested in discovering the incredible biodiversity of Costa Rica.

About this tour

During this tour, we will have the opportunity to see and photograph a great variety of bird species in a unique natural setting in Costa Rica’s Central Valley. Among the most special species is the Cabanis’s Ground-Sparrow, an endemic bird of this region that is currently endangered due to habitat loss. In addition to enjoying birdwatching and nature photography, your visit to the farm also contributes to the growth of a family project focused on protecting this species and promoting conservation within agricultural areas, demonstrating that production and conservation can work together for the benefit of biodiversity.
