About this tour

Explore the birds of Corcovado from a unique perspective, just outside the National Park boundaries. While enjoying the exact same birds as the park itself, exploring this surrounding forest grants us the freedom to take our time and fully immerse ourselves in the birdwatching experience, free from strict park regulations and time limits. This region is famous for some range-restricted bird species, like the fiery-billed Aracari, Turquoise Cotinga, Baird’s Trogon, Black-hooded Antshrike, Riverside Wren, Golden-naped Woodpecker and many more. It is also an excellent place to enjoy some of the most iconic species of the rainforest, like the Scarlet Macaw, Red-capped Manakin and the Yellow-throated Toucan.
