Night Tour
Your tour guide:
My name is Gerson. I am a naturalist guide, born in the Caribbean of Costa Rica and now residing in Puerto Jiménez. I visited the Osa Peninsula a long time ago, and I simply fell in love with the place. Since then, I have tried to do the things that fill me as a person: love nature and share it, learn from it, and grow.
About this tour
Discover the rainforest after dark on a guided night walk near Puerto Jiménez. This experience takes place along an easy and mostly flat forest-edge trail, making it suitable for participants of all ages and experience levels. As daylight fades, a different world begins to emerge. Accompanied by a naturalist guide, we will explore the area in search of the fascinating creatures that become active at night. Depending on weather conditions and seasonality, opportunities may include observing frogs, snakes, insects, spiders, sleeping birds, mammals, and many other nocturnal organisms.
