About this tour
The Royal Flycatcher Tour is offered exclusively during April and May, coinciding with the species’ nesting season. Tours take place in the morning, during the hours when the birds are most active. Each year, we carefully locate active nests in advance to offer this experience responsibly, always respecting the birds’ natural behavior and well-being. We work with small, private groups, accompanied by a local guide and led by a guide with 10 years of experience working with this incredible species. During the tour, you will have excellent opportunities to photograph and film the Royal Flycatcher, enjoying a unique encounter with one of Costa Rica’s most fascinating birds
