About this tour
Discover Marino Ballena National Park with us on an authentic 3-hour experience on the Pacific Ocean. This boat tour is designed for those seeking a true connection with nature and is led by a certified local guide. During the trip, you'll sail through one of Costa Rica's richest ecosystems, with a chance of spotting humpback whales during whale season (December to May and July to November), as well as resident dolphins that are frequently seen around the national park. Keep your eyes peeled: sea turtles and coastal seabirds are also part of this natural spectacle. The experience goes beyond whale watching. Throughout the tour, your guide will explain everything you see, from unique rock formations to how to identify individual animals (dolphins or whales). You'll explore the impressive caverns of the Ventanas sector, unique rock formations sculpted by the sea, and visit Isla Ballena, an ideal spot to relax and swim (snorkeling only if water visibility permits). This tour combines adventure, spectacular scenery, and environmental education, giving you a deeper understanding of the marine environment and its conservation. Ideal for travelers who value authentic, safe, and enriching experiences in direct contact with nature.
