My name is Gerson. I am a naturalist guide, born in the Caribbean of Costa Rica and now residing in Puerto Jiménez. I visited the Osa Peninsula a long time ago, and I simply fell in love with the place. Since then, I have tried to do the things that fill me as a person: love nature and share it, learn from it, and grow.
About this tour
Join us on a visit to one of the most attractive and privileged locations in the Osa Peninsula to search for the rare and beautiful Yellow-billed Cotinga. Thanks to the unique river ecosystem of this area, we also have excellent opportunities to observe a great diversity of birdlife. With some luck, we may spot the stunning Turquoise Cotinga, toucans, aracaris, and many other remarkable bird species that inhabit this rich tropical environment. After our birding walk, we will visit a local restaurant to enjoy a traditional Costa Rican breakfast while reviewing the morning’s bird list and sharing highlights from the experience.
